Spending each day trying to focus on the good. After losing a loved one (humans + pets) it can be really hard to bounce back. Knowing this, I’ve planned one fun thing to do each day of this week to help keep me busy and focused on happy things. Yesterday I stopped in one of my favorite stores @thefreckledhenfarmhouse to look at all the fun home decor they had, and today I’ve been sitting at work watching the snow fall. I’m very thankful for the small businesses that make NWA what it is and I’m even thankful for Arkansas weather. It keeps us on our toes! ❄️🌸

Seek good. See good. Be good. 💛Something i’ve been working on this year is changing my mindset to focus on the good and not the bad. If you focus on the bad, it’s all you see and dwell on. Which can really be hard, but it goes both ways. If you seek good, you’ll see the good and focus on the good moments. Most days, I am able to have a “cup half full” mindset. But I really want to focus on seeking out the good every single day! Challenging myself to from the moment I wake up to seek the good in the day. Start my day with gratitude and end it with gratitude. There are so many good things happening around all of us. We just have to SEEK it out so we can SEE it and then we will BE good 🙌🏾

Post walk selfie 🤳 Today I had to remind myself not to let the little things that bother me/don’t go my way turn into big things that ruin my day. I had to step back, question why it was bothering me so much, and then change my scenery. Honestly, it’s really hard to adjust to that mindset of letting things go and not letting one thing ruin your day. But let me tell you, after getting outside and going on a walk, I feel so much better. I’m also very thankful for this little guy who’s so ready for the next adventure. He loves a good change of scenery! 🐶
